Reviews and Ratings
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view over the lake, park, and mountains from my room's terrace, which made up for the slightly damp odor in the room. The rooms, although not spacious, were adequate and offered a cozy retreat with lovely lake views. The service, while initially tailored more towards wealthy elderly German tourists, was still pleasant and accommodating. The location, perched on a hill near Salò with easy access to town via a tuk-tuk, was unparalleled, offering a serene getaway with access to numerous dining options. The dining experience was divine, with delicious food and an incredible view, but the faded glory of the facilities left something to be desired.
The hotel offers mixed experiences, with pleasant service and dining, but rooms with a musty smell.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The room was fantastic with a huge terrace and a stunning sea view, though slightly tight for three adults and a toddler. The service was exceptional, especially considering they accommodated my daughter's lactose intolerance without any hassle. The location was picturesque and easily accessible from Verona and Milan, making it a lovely choice. The dining experience was good, although a bit formal for young kids. Overall, a great experience with a few minor hiccups.
The hotel offers rooms that are not large but perfectly adequate, with many having a terrace overlooking the lake. However, my room was musty, small, and looked onto the staff quarters at the back of the hotel, with uncomfortable single beds pushed together. The service was superb, with attentive staff and exceptional assistance in changing rooms. As for the location, it was gorgeous, especially the wonderful terrace overlooking Lake Garda. Dining with a magnificent view over the lake, park, and mountains was beautiful, though a bit overly formal for young kids. The hotel offers a tranquil setting and excellent facilities.
I absolutely adored my stay at the villa! The panoramic view of Garda Lake from the room was breathtaking, although the outdated dryer was a bit of a letdown. The staff at Villa del Sogno were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure our excursions and restaurant bookings were sorted with a smile. The location was simply stunning, perched up on a hill with elevated views of Lake Garda, albeit a bit of a workout up the steep hill. As for the dining experience, the meals were good but lacked variety, and the à la carte style felt a bit limited. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor hiccups along the way.
